These new Masters video promos are unlike any other
Augusta National has surprised everyone with the innovative ways they’re promoting the first major of the year.
With the advent of LIV Golf, the 2023 Masters Tournament may be the most anticipated golf tournament for many years.
Augusta National announced that former Masters’ champions and top-50 golfers playing on the LIV Golf tour would be invited per usual meaning the likes of Brooks Keopka, Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, Phil Mickelson, and Cameron Smith will all be playing in the 2023 Masters Tournament.
With this in mind, the green jacket brigade has rolled out a few early promo videos to build more excitement. And they’re both very contemporary given their penchant for sticking to traditions.
Perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised by all this considering Augusta National gave permission to Dude Perfect to make this video last year but we’re impressed with the creativity and innovation all the same.
The first video below shows a bunch of young hipsters kicking back and enjoying the tournament on TV.
The second is appealing to the next generation of golfers, promoting a celebrity golf challenge that will take place at Augusta National on the Sunday preceding the Masters to help launch the new EA Sports PGA Tour video game.
