Sydney golf course closes for production of new THOR movie

Probably not a good idea to play golf when there is lightning around. #ThorLoveAndThunder

One of Sydney’s most spectacular public golf courses has been turned into the set for a new Marvel Superhero movie.

The Coast Golf Club in Little Bay is off-limits to golfers for the week while scenes for the new Thor movie are being filmed.

A big chunk of the par-4 5th hole that runs along the rugged clifftops has been transformed into the backdrop for a scene from the upcoming Thir: Love and Thunder movie starring Chris Hemsworth, Matt Damon and Natalie Portman.

Hard to believe Hemsworth and Damon aren’t playing a few shots at the nearby par-3 4th in between shoots. Shots between shoots.
