Rory McIlroy rips shirt in frustration after unlucky break at DP World Tour Championship
Rory McIlroy got an unlucky break and had every right to feel frustrated after his closing round at the DP World Tour Championship.
Golf by Tour Miss captured the image of Rory McIlroy with a ripped shirt after signing off for a 2-over par 74 at the DP World Tour Championship.
Ultimately, it was Collin Morikawa who claimed a three-shot victory, but with four holes remaining, it looked like Rory McIlroy was going to raise the trophy.
McIlroy took a one-stroke lead into the par-4 15th hole and faced a 36-yard second shot to the hole.
The pitch shot was a little strong but very accurate, hitting the flagstick and bouncing back into the greenside bunker.
