Rick Shiels teamed up with Australian YouTuber Ron Chopper for a round at The Grange Golf Club ahead of the LIV Golf Adelaide tournament.

In the lead-up to the 2025 LIV Golf Adelaide tournament, English golf content creator Rick Shiels teamed up with Australian YouTuber Ron Chopper for a round at The Grange Golf Club.

The collaboration, which was featured in Shiels’ popular “Break 75” series, showcased the unique challenges of the composite version of the South Australian course.

Shiels, who recently partnered with LIV Golf, played alongside the always entertaining Ron Chopper, but geez he looked nervous early!

The round at The Grange was part of Shiels’ broader content series around LIV Golf, offering fans an inside look at some of the courses featured on the breakaway tour’s schedule.

His new role as an official LIV Golf content creator has been met with mixed reactions.

​Prior to his recent partnership with LIV Golf, Rick Shiels had expressed reservations about the league.

In a discussion on his podcast, Shiels questioned the league’s impact and fan engagement, stating, “At the moment, there are two tours… I probably should have watched more. I wasn’t bothered about watching any.”

Hopefully, for LIV, his content gets more eyes on the tour ahead of a rumoured merger with the PGA Tour.
