Phil Mickelson practices the backwards flop-shot at Scottish Open: video
Phil Mickelson is so skilled around the greens he can play wedge shots backwards.
Phil Mickelson was spotted playing his reverse flop-shot during a practice round at Royal Aberdeen, the home of this week’s Scottish Open. Mickelson is the defending Scottish Open champion and we’ve seen Lefty play this type of shot before.
But he plays it better than anyone else I’ve seen. In fact I think he’s the only guy I’ve ever seen play it successfully.
