Official date set for Woods v Mickelson rematch
Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will face off with a couple of famous playing partners at Medalist Golf Club in Florida on May 24, 2020.
The rematch called “The Match: Champions for Charity on TNT,” will raise money for COVID-19 relief efforts.
Woods will partner with former Colts and Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning in the charity challenge, facing off against Phil Mickelson and New England Patriots Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady.
All players caught up briefly online to promote the event and there were a few early sledges.
Live coverage will be broadcast into the US via TNT but no word on any Australian live feed as yet.

Peyton: “The tournament has to be in Florida. After Tom’s B&E arrest, with the ankle monitor, he couldn’t leave the state so it had to be in Florida. Tiger and I talked to the sheriff in Tampa; he’s going to be allowed to go to Palm Beach to play…” pic.twitter.com/67FdzeXMe5
