Nick Price’s caddie tells story of Augusta course record while hungover
Nick Price’s old caddie Dave McNeilly has taken to Twitter to tell the story of when he was severely hungover while his employer went on to card the course record at Augusta National.
Before the third round of the 1986 Masters Tournament, Nick Price’s bagman Dave McNeilly decided to head out and have a few drinks to celebrate making the cut.
Except McNeilly took things a little too far and could barely get a yardage for Price during the round.
Price went on a tear as soon as he took the yardage book off his caddie, and well… listen for yourself. And make sure you listen until the end as Price’s putt headed towards the hole on the 18th green.
What a story from the legend that is Dave McNeilly!
