Netflix drops teaser trailer for Happy Gilmore 2
Netflix has released the first teaser for Happy Gilmore 2, giving fans a glimpse of Adam Sandler’s return to the beloved role nearly three decades after the original.
Netflix has unveiled the teaser trailer for Happy Gilmore 2, the long-awaited sequel to Adam Sandler’s 1996 comedy. The trailer premiered during Netflix’s NFL Christmas Gameday event, offering fans their first glimpse of Sandler’s iconic character returning to the golf course.
The sequel follows Happy Gilmore as he enters a senior golf tour, reconnecting with characters like Shooter McGavin, played by Christopher McDonald, and Virginia Venit, portrayed by Julie Bowen.
The film brings back many familiar faces from the original, including Ben Stiller, who reprises his role as Hal L. New cast members include rapper Bad Bunny and NFL player Travis Kelce, alongside cameos from Jack Nicklaus and Eminem.
Happy Gilmore 2 is expected to premiere on Netflix in July 2025.
