Min Woo Lee Call of Duty

Min Woo Lee made a surprise appearance in Sydney on Friday as part of a promotional campaign for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

The Aussie golf star was unveiled as “The Replacer” during the game’s local launch, stepping into a fictional role that helps fans free up time to play more video games.

To mark the occasion, a large statue of Min Woo Lee was installed above Pitt Street Mall, attracting the attention of commuters and shoppers. The statue was part of a weekend-long activation that included gaming challenges and giveaways.

Lee spoke at the launch event, sharing how his love of gaming has influenced his approach to golf. He also declared November 14 as “Replacer Day,” encouraging fans to take a break and enjoy the new release.

Min Woo Lee will soon shift focus back to the fairways, with appearances confirmed at both of Australia’s major golf tournaments.

He’ll tee it up at the Australian PGA Championship at Royal Queensland—an event he has previously won—and then head to Royal Melbourne for the Australian Open, played on the famous composite course.
