Lucas Herbert put on a masterclass in clutch putting to claim his second European Tour title at the Irish Open.

Australia’s Lucas Herbert has claimed his second European Tour title with a fighting three-stroke victory at the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open.

Clutch putting was the story of the week for Herbert who had to deal with a wayward driver during the middle putts of his round.

The victory means Herbert earns himself a place in the field for The Open Championship which tees off at Royal St.George’s next week.
