Leishman, Day and Smith tee it up at WGC Dell Technologies Match Play
Three Australian golfers will tee it up in the 64-man WGC Dell Technologies Match Play this week with Marc Leishman and Jason Day handed particularly tough opponents.
The WGC Dell Match Play tees off in Austin, Texas this week with two Australians handed particularly tough groups.
Highest ranked Aussie Jason Day has been handed Jason Dufner, James Hahn and Louis Oosthuizen in his group where the winner will go through to the knockout stages. Day may like his chances against Oosthuizen having defated the South African 5&4 to win the final of the Dell Match Play in 2016.
Marc Leishman has also drawn some tough opponents.
As the 11th seed going into this event (based on world ranking), Leishman will face South African Branden Grace as well as Americans Bubba Watson and Julian Suri.

Cameron Smith has been drawn in group 5 along side Japanese golfers Hideki Matsuyama and Yusaku Mityasato, as well as American Patrick Cantlay.
The WGC Dell Technolgies Match Play will be broadcast live on FoxSports Australia; 5:00am – 11:00am (Thurs-Sat), 1:00am – 10:00am (Sun, Mon)
