Knox beats Fox in dramatic finish at Irish Open: video highlights

Scotland’s Russell Knox edged out New Zealand’s Ryan Fox after a dramatic finish at the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open.

If you missed the finish of the Irish Open check out the video below as the ending was particularly dramatic. The European Tour tournament went to a sudden-death playoff after Russell Knox and Ryan Fox finished the tournament tied at 14-under par.

Knox holed a huge birdie putt on the 18th to take the clubhouse lead before Fox just missed a putt to take the trophy in regular time.

The extra hole was uncannily similar to what had just played out. Knox holing the almost identical putt before Fox came agonizingly close to holing his birdie putt.
