JT Poston posts first bogey-free 72-hole stroke play win on PGA Tour since 1974
American JT Poston has become the first golfer since Lee Trevino in 1974 to win a 72-hole stroke play tournament on the PGA Tour without a blemish on his card.
Poston carded a final round 8-under 62 to beat Webb Simpson to the Wyndham Championship trophy by a single stroke.
Poston’s fourth successive round in the 60s was also the fourth successive day without a bogey on his card meaning his first professional victory was also the first bogey-free, 72-hole stroke play event since Lee Trevino won in 1974.
