Grant Dodd chatted the late Tom Ramsey last year, in what was to be his final interview.
Tom Ramsey died earlier this year and was Australia’s greatest golf writer. He was News Limited’s chief golf writer for four decades and travelled the world covering golf tournaments in all corners of the globe making friends with the greatest golfers of a generation and crossed paths with the likes of Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Munroe.
Grant Dodd of ONE HD’s The Pro Shop interviewed Ramsey before last year about his battle with cancer, his love of a bottle of red, the current state of golf writing and his falling out with one time friend, Greg Norman.
His comments on Tiger Woods are worth hearing.
