Holey Moley Open Returns with $20,000 Prize and a National Mini Golf Showdown
Holey Moley, the chain of Australian mini golf entertainment centres, has relaunched its national championships for 2025, bringing competitive mini golf back to the spotlight.
The Holey Moley Open has drawn 200 teams from across Australia, all vying for the title and the $20,000 first-place prize. The tournament will culminate in a Grand Final at Holey Moley’s Darlinghurst venue in Sydney this March, where the nation’s top mini golf team will be crowned.
The competition has already gained some attention, albeit in an unusual fashion, following a brief and somewhat awkward segment on the Today Show. The feature, led by Karl Stefanovic, leaned heavily into golf-related puns, much to the amusement—or perhaps mild discomfort—of viewers.
