High winds wreak havoc at PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational: video
Winds of up to 50kph forced the PGA Tour to delay the third round of the Genesis Invitational at Riviera after several golf balls were blown off the greens.
Keegan Bradley’s putt on the par-4 1oth hole was the last straw and tournament organisers blew the horn to stop play soon after.
It reminds me of similar situations occurring at Australian golf tournaments. The 2012 Australian Open was also suspended due to 80kph wind gusts blowing golf balls off the greens.
