HENDERSON WINS EVIAN CHAMPIONSHIP: Final round video highlights

Canadian Brooke Henderson has won her second major championship after taking out the 2022 Amundi Evian Championship in France.

Six years after winning her first major golf trophy at the PGA Championship in 2016, Brooke Henderson has held on to win the Amundo Evian Championship by a single shot.

Leading by two strokes at the start of the day Henderson’s lead quickly evaporated after a horrible four-putt at the sixth hole.

Not long after after six players held a share of the lead including Japan’s Mao Saigo, Lydia Ko, Kim Hyo-Joo, Charley Hull and Carlota Ciganda.

Showing a steely resolve, Henderson made birdies on the back nine to get herself back into the lead. A magnificent 10-foot birdie putt at the last hole clinched a tumultuous victory.

The best of the Australians was the duo of Hannah Green and Steph Kyriacou who finished 1o shots behind Henderson in a tie for 31st place.
