Netflix has released the official trailer for Happy Gilmore 2, the sequel to the 1996 comedy, featuring Adam Sandler’s return to the golf course alongside a star-studded cast of original characters and professional golfers.
Netflix has released the official trailer for “Happy Gilmore 2,” the sequel to the 1996 golf comedy. The film is scheduled to premiere on July 25, 2025. Adam Sandler reprises his role as Happy Gilmore, joined by original cast members Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald.
The trailer showcases Gilmore’s return to the golf course after a prolonged absence.
The sequel features appearances by professional golfers Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, and Bryson DeChambeau, as well as golf influencer Paige Spiranac. The trailer also includes a cameo by John Daly, who encourages Gilmore with the phrase, “C’mon brother! Grip it and rip it!”
The film is directed by Kyle Newacheck, with a script co-written by Tim Herlihy and Adam Sandler.
