Greg Norman set to lead cast on Australia’s mega mini-golf TV show, Holey Moley
A massive hit in the US, a “Thunderdome” version of mini-golf is coming to Australian TV screens with Greg Norman on board.
Greg Norman has been announced as one of the hosts of Australia’s version of the US hit TV show Mega Mini Golf.
Titled Holey Moley in Australia, Norman will appear in every episode as “resident golf pro” – a role performed by Steph Curry in the US version of the show.
From the press release:
“Holey Moley is mini golf like you’ve never seen before and I couldn’t be more excited to be part of this fresh, fun, new TV series,” said Greg.
“I look forward to joining the other incredible talent on the Holey Moley team and seeing all of the competitors in the ‘Thunderdome’ of mini golf. Let the games begin!”
Also announced to host the show are US actor and comedian Rob Riggle, and AFL commentator Brian Taylor. Both will serve as commentators on the series with Riggle is already successful in the role in the American production.
Olympia Valance from “Playing For Keeps” and “Neighbours” will be Sideline Reporter on Holey Moley.
Eureka TV productions were looking for contestants late last year and production is due to begin in the next few months, to hit screens later in the year.
