Golflink launches 2013/14 Race to Bonville

The fifth instalment of the GolfLink Race Series will finish at Bonville Golf Resort in Coffs Harbour.

Golf Link have just announced the details of their annual Race Series and the 2013/14 National Final will be held at Australia’s leading golf resort, Bonville Golf Resort.

Any golfer with a club handicap can enter any of the 32 qualifying events across the country to attempt to compete for the individual national title at Bonville Golf Resort in May, 2014.

This year, finalists will comprise of the Order of Merit champion and the best A, B and C grade finalists from each state. For the first time, there is a guaranteed place for each state’s leading female golfer.

“The Golf Link Race to Bonville is Australia’s most exciting amateur tournament, offering every Australian golf club member the opportunity to compete in a professional-style tour championship,” said Golf Link CEO Craig Connelly.

“When golfers tee off in a Race event, with the rest of the field looking on in anticipation, they get a taste of what it’s like to compete at the highest level.”

Each event sees golfers vying for order of merit points with the leading 40 players invited to compete in their relevant state final with the winner in each grade earning a spot in the National Final event at Bonville Golf Resort.

Every qualifying event winner will automatically gain entrance into their relevant state final, at no charge
