Netflix has released the trailer for the upcoming third season of Full Swing, the documentary series that offers a behind-the-scenes look at professional golf.
The new season, set to premiere on February 25, will focus on some of the biggest storylines from the 2024 season, including Scottie Scheffler’s dominant year and unexpected arrest, Rory McIlroy’s close calls and personal challenges, and Bryson DeChambeau’s resurgence at the U.S. Open.
Returning for Season 3 are several familiar names, including Joel Dahmen, Justin Thomas, and Rickie Fowler, alongside new faces such as Ludvig Åberg and Neal Shipley. The trailer hints at dramatic moments both on and off the course, including Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley’s unexpected year, which saw him take on a leadership role for Team USA.
This trailer for the upcoming Full Swing season feels different.
There was some seriously big drama during 2024, most notably, Scottie Scheffler’s arrest, Rory and Bryson at the US Open, and the heartbreaking stories of Camillo Villegas and Gary Woodland. And it appears that the Netflix Full Swing team has captured it all.
I’ve been a little ho-hum on the previous Full Swing seasons. It’s been good and piqued my interest enough to watch them, but this is the first time I’ve felt excited anticipation to watch.
Full Swing Season 3 drops on Netflix on February 25, 2025.
