From LAX to the Links: Golf.com’s Aussie Golf Adventure Begins
The Golf.com crew has arrived in Australia and wasted no time diving into the best golf the Mornington Peninsula has to offer.
The Golf.com team has touched down in Australia and wasted no time getting straight into the action. Fresh off a 16-hour flight from LA, they hit the road and teed it up at Peninsula Kingswood’s North Course, where they got their first taste of Sandbelt golf—and a friendly reminder about the local snake population.
Next up, they took on Moonah Links’ Open Course, a long and windy layout designed by Aussie Peter Thomson, before wrapping up with a round at The National Golf Club’s Old Course, where kangaroos stole the spotlight. With stunning views, firm fairways, and a few questionable tee shots, the first two days set the tone for an epic 10-day Aussie golf adventure.
We liked this quote from Josh:
“The Mornington Peninsula was Northern California, minus the congestion; it was Scotland with nicer weather and better wine.”
