Exploring the World’s Worst Golf Holes with Fried Egg Golf’s “Design Disasters”

The Fried Egg Golf crew doesn’t hold back when critiquing the world’s worst golf holes.

The team at Fried Egg Golf recently launched a new subset of podcasts series titled “Design Disasters,” offering a brief yet entertaining dive into some of the most baffling golf holes submitted by their listeners.

Each episode, lasting just 2-5 minutes, features the team hilariously critiquing these golf design monstrosities.

Rather than visiting these locations, the Fried Egg Golf crew use Google Maps to zoom in on the submitted holes, while delivering their refreshingly candid takes. The absurdity of some of these designs—ranging from poorly thought-out hazards to wild dog-legs—make for great content. It’s a fresh angle on course architecture, and the quick, snappy episodes keeps us coming back.

We’ve been tuning into “Design Disasters” regularly and thought it was worth sharing with Aussie Golfer readers. We’ve embedded a couple of episodes to give you a taste. For more, follow Fried Egg Golf on YouTube or Instagram.
