It’s almost redundant to say that the 2020 Masters will be a little different.

The rescheduled November event means we will be seeing more fall autumn hues at Augusta National and less spring colours. More maple leaves, fewer azaleas.

The fan-free Masters means there aren’t any grandstands about the course, no patrons lining the fairways and there certainly won’t be any roars echoing through the pines.

2020 MASTERS Australian groupings and tee times

Five Australian golfers will tee off in this week’s 2020 Masters Tournament that begins on Thursday.

2013 Masters champion Adam Scott will be joined by Marc Leishman, amateur Lukas Michel, Cameron Smith and Jason Day in the rescheduled November Masters.

FoxSports, Kayo and Channel Nine have the live-action this week as well as a stack of live featured video through the official Masters.com

In a media release from Augusta National, a host of new tournament coverage options for fans was announced for the upcoming 2020 Masters Tournament; rescheduled to November 9-15, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2020 Masters to be played without spectators

Augusta National has announced that the 2020 Masters will be played without any spectators patrons.

The Masters Tournament, rescheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic to November 12-15 will be played out without any patrons.

While the decision is a sound one and not surprising, the roars of the crowds that sweep across the course at Augusta National on a Sunday will be sorely missed.
