Cameron Davis on the PGA Tour – hotels, weights and shooting low scores

The team at Precision Athletica have shared a nice interview with Cameron Davis about life on the PGA Tour.

We recall first chatting to Cameron Davis after he won the Australian Amateur at The Australian Golf Club in 2015, and just three years later he shot to prominence with his remarkable Australian Open victory at the same venue.

Since then, 25-year-old Davis has steadily improved as a member of the PGA Tour. In 2019/20, Davis grabbed himself two top-10 finishes, ranked 84th on the FedEx Cup rankings and earned over $800k.

Davis has some interesting things to say about life on the PGA Tour including what he’s learned about shooting lower scores, booking hotels, lifting weights and some advice for amateurs thinking about turning pro.

And of course, he can hit a golf ball incredibly well left and right-handed.
