Cameron Davis get an incredibly lucky bounce to set up eagle
Cameron Davis carded a 2-under par opening round to currently sit in 32nd place in the projected FedEx Cup rankings, but his round really got going when he posted an eagle at the short par-4 16th hole (his 7th) this morning.
Davis went for the green with his driver and received an astonishing break as his ball bounced off a rock, then ricocheted off something else behind the green before nestling on the green.
The top-70 players on the FedEx Cup standings will go through to next week’s event with just the top-30 going through to the season ending TOUR Chamnpionship.
