Bryson DeChambeau spraying water on golf balls during practice

Bryson DeChambeau heads into the PGA Tour’s final event of the year ranked first in the FedEx Cup rankings and leaving nothing to chance, he’s been doing a bit of experimenting on the range.

Not content with just hitting golf balls and tracking flight and distance, DeChambeau has been simulating dew on the golf ball and golf club and looking at its effect on ball flight before the TOUR Championship tees off on Thursday.

DeChambeau won the first two FedEx Cup Playoff tournaments so it’s hard to argue with anything he’s doing at the moment.

It’s created a bit of a stir all the same, but nothing ball manufacturers wouldn’t have done and know about already…
