Bryson DeChambeau goes back-to-back, now 7th in the world: video highlights
Bryson DeChambeau has won back-to-back PGA Tour events after claiming a two-stroke victory at the Dell Technologies Championship at TPC Boston.
DeChambeau’s final round 67 was good enough to finished at 16-under par, beating Justin Rose by two shots. Australia’s Cameron Smith finished a further shot back at 13-under par.
The victory means that DeChambeau, who has the same shaft length on all of his irons, has jumped to number seven in the world golf rankings and number one ranked player on the FedEx Cup.
The two victories in the opening two FedEx Cup playoffs assures DeChambeau the number one ranking at the final TOUR Championship event in two weeks time, putting him in prime position to capture the $10 million prize for winning thre Fed Ex Cup.
And a couple more things on Bryson DeChambeau.
He now has four PGA Tour wins. The same as Rickie Fowler and Brooks Koepka.
All four of DeChambeau’s PGA Tour victories have come in the last 14 months. Only Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas has won more times in the last two years.
It has taken BeChambeau 69 starts for his four PGA Tour victories. The only person to win four times faster was Rory McIlroy (50).
