Adam Scott to play 2013 Australian PGA, Australian Masters and Australian Open

Scott confirms his appearance at Royal Sydney in November.

The PGA of Adam Scott has officially announced that he will play in the 2013 Australian Open at Royal Sydney this year, completing a trifecta of appearances in Australia in November.

Scott his now confirmed his place on the field for the Australian PGA Championship at Royal Pines on the Gold Coast, Australian Masters at Royal Melbourne and now the Australian Open at Royal Sydney.

Scott won the 2009 Australian Open when it was held at NSW Golf Club and along with his selection by Greg Norman it reignited the US Masters champion’s career.

“Winning the National Open is the title every Australian golfer wants. We have a great sponsor in Emirates, a great course in Royal Sydney and I am sure the Sydney sporting public will come in great numbers to support the event. I look forward to competing and celebrating with them during the week,” Scott said.

The three events are punctuated by The World Cup of Golf scheduled to be played at Royal Melbourne the week between the Australian Masters and the Australian Open.

Is anyone prepared to back against Scott forming pone half of the Australian team to play in the World Cup?
