International and USA Team captains Ernie Els and Tiger Woods made their selections in the media centre this afternoon revealing a number of talking points.
Tiger Woods will be paired with Justin Thomas to go up against the International pairing of Marc Leishman and Joaquin Niemann in the opening match that tees off at 9:32am (local time).
Self-proclaimed Captain America, Patrick Reed has courted controversy this week is paired with Webb Simpson to play Hideki Matsuyama and C.T.Pan in the fourth match.
One of Reed’s most vocal critics this week, Australian Cameron Smith will be rested on the opening day and will no doubt be part of the action on Friday.
