2012 Emirates Australian Open: TV Broadcast Times

Network Seven bring the 2012 Emirates Australian Open to free-to-air TV this week.
If you can’t get to The Lakes Golf Club in Sydney this week, Channel 7 will be covering the Australian Open all week, with live coverage each day from 12 – 5pm.
December 6 – 9, 2011
Thursday 12:00pm – 5.00pm (AEST)
Friday 12.00pm – 5.00pm
Saturday 12.00pm – 5.00pm
Sunday 12.00pm – 5.00pm
And importantly, in the event of a play-off, the telecast will be extended for 30 minutes on Channel 7. Coverage will then switch to 7TWO if required.

  • Sure beats sitting in a hotel or club to watch golf on Foxtel Sports.

  • This is great that Channel 7 has continued this free to air coverage.

I’ve been watching the Australian Open on television for years and will continue to do so.

This is Australian golf’s show piece event and needs to be available to as many people as possible.

  • I dont have access to a TV at work so i will probably follow the Aus Open on the Live Blog on the PGA Tour website – live.pga.org.au

Followed the Masters this way and it was pretty good.

  • Good on you Channel 7. Channel 10 should be ashamed of itself for not covering such an important Australian event.
