Zach Johnson drops the ball, again and again: video
Zach Johnson won the John Deere Classic this morning, but not after some dropping drama on the first playoff hole.
On the first hole of sudden-death playoff this morning, Zach Johnson hit his ball into the water and then dropped his ball five times before he could play his next shot.
He said he wasn’t trying to hit his tee, but it sure looked like he was.
Remarkably his opponent in the playoff Troy Matteson also hit his ball in the water and both halved the hole with double bogey’s. Johnson went on to win the John Deere Classic by hitting a superb 6-iron from a fairway bunker to birdie the second playoff hole.
