Karrie Webb must surely be Australia’s best golfer ever. She beat Japan’s Chie Arimura for a one-shot victory at the HSBC Women’s Championship in Singapore today. (See video highlights courtesy of FoxSports below).
Going into the back nine tied with Yani Tseng and trailing by one, she needed something special. Given Yani Tseng’s year, everyone expected her to win the tournament. A string of four birdies starting at the 11th sealed the win for Webb however, with only a par needed on the last for victory.
So does everyone agree? Australia’s best golfer ever?
