Three Australians have won the US PGA Championship, namely David Graham in 1979, Wayne Grady in 1990 and Steve Elkington in 1995.
In searching around for highlights of Wayne Grady’s victory in 1990 (he won by three shots from Fred Couples) I stumbled upon this interview with Grady following his major win. I’m assuming this went to air in 1990 or 1991.
Grady talks candidly about comparisons with Greg Norman and difficult times in his career including the birth of their down-syndrome daughter Sam.
