Ahead of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, unique photo opportunities featuring the best players in the field are the norm. But tournament organisers have made it a little more dynamic this year and pitted four of the world’s best players against each other in a speed golf challenge.
Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler and Henrik Stenson raced to complete a hole using GolfBoard’s between shots. The players looked like they had some fun with this but given McIlroy missed The Open last year after he injured his ankle playing football, there must have been people watching this with their hearts in their mouths.
Especially as the world number one shunts into the world number two as they race down the fairway.
