Watch Jason Day make a great birdie from the cart path

Jason Day’s opening round at the AT&T Byron Nelson included a birdie from the cart path and an unlucky bounce off the flagstick.

Jason Day had an up-and-down opening round of the AT&T Byron Nelson this morning. Finishing with a 2-under par 68, Day is still searching for consistency as his round included an eagle, four birdies and three bogeys to find himself just four behind leaders Ricky Barnes and James Hahn.

Day’s birdie at the short par-4 11th was fun to watch. After seeing his drive rocket over the back of the green and on to the cart path, the world number three had no problems getting it up and down.

Day’s round could have been even better if he didn’t get this unlucky bounce off the flagstick at the 16th.
