The opening round of the 2015 Fiji International was a little blustery.
Wind gusts up to 65 kph played havoc with the first round of the Fiji International with just Josh Geary managing to get the ball around in par, the rest of the field finished at 2-over the card or worse.
American Matt Kuchar is one of those players at 2-over the card and managed to use the wind to his advantage on the green of the par-4 2nd hole at the Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course.
“I gave it a second, because I knew my putt earlier had rolled backwards, and sure enough the wind finally took it and blew it right back into the hole,” said Kuchar.
“I’m not sure I have ever witnessed that, I always thought that it could happen, so it was kind of fun that it happened to me today.”
