Jonathan Byrd has just beaten Australian Cameron Percy and Scot Martin Laird to win the JT Shriners Hospitals Open with a hole-in-one on the fourth playoff hole!

In near darkness, the three golfers had just agreed to play one more hole and see if they could break the dead lock. Byrd did so in the most dramatic way to win a golf tournament. It was heartbreaking stuff for Percy who has struggled in his debut year on the PGA Tour the win would have assured him a a PGA Tour card next year.

Michael, at least Cameron made some headway. He moved up to 144 on the money list, which is at least partial status next year, and my best guess is he needs about $200,000 at Disney to make it into the Top 125…

Or he just may win it. He’s certainly playing well enough!

Yes, here’s hoping he has a good week shortly. He’s bummed he’s missing the Oz Masters but he’s gotta keep his US job!
