Tiger Woods withdraws again, blames deactivated glutes

Tiger Woods has withdrawn from yet another golf tournament due to a back injury.

Tiger Woods has withdrawn from his third tournament in eight starts again due to a back-related injury. Woods was forced to leave the golf course after just 11 holes after appearing in pain for most of the morning where he struggled to pick up his golf ball and tees.

Woods briefly spoke to reporters as he left the golf course and blamed deactivated glutes for the back injury.

Subsequently, #deactivatedglutes is now trending on Twitter.

All eyes were on Tiger woods this week after his disastrous round at last week’s Waste Management Open. Returning to Torrey Pines where Woods has eight career victories, maany expected the 14-time major champion to bounce back.

After a poor chip at the opening hole, many were wondering is another bis score was on the card, but he made a neat little chip shot soon after to dispel any more talk of the chipping yips.

This latest WD from Woods will be discussed and dissected in the golf media across the next few days but some have already wondered how long Woods can keep coming back from this injury. It’s not only bad news for the coming tournaments and The Masters, but quite possibly for Woods’ career.
