Tiger Woods handed prosthetic leg during skills challenge at Presidents Cup launch
When All Abilities golfer Shane Luke stepped up to play a few shots, he got Tiger Woods to help him out.
As part of the launch of the Presidents Cup on Monday evening, several special guests were invited to hit a few golf balls at the target in the middle of the Yarra River in Melbourne.
Among those joining some of the Presidents Cup players and captains were world number one tennis player Ash Barty and Australian amputee golf legend Shane Luke.
Luke’s pre-shot routine included removing his prosthetic leg and handing it to Woods before hitting one onto the floating green.
According to Shane Ryan, Luke told Woods he would hit his second shot “off the back foot”.
