Spieth, Scott headline the 2015 Emirates Australian Open field

The 2015 Emirates Australian Open field is starting to shape up nicely.

After the news that Jordan Spieth will defend his Emirates Australian Open title at The Australian Golf Club (Nov 26 – 29), many other players are confirming their spot in the field including former Open Champion Darren Clarke and 1997 Australian Open winner Lee Westwood.

“The Australian Open has a wonderful history and has been won by many of the game’s greatest players and with the likes of Lee, Jordan and Adam playing this November, we are in for a real treat,” Clarke said.

Adam Scott will also be back at the Australian Open hoping to win his second Stonehaven Cup after he won at the New South Wales Golf Club in 2009 and over the past few weeks more of Australia’s best golfers have also just committed to playing.

Presidents Cup stars Marc Leishman and Steven Bowditch will both be playing at The Australian, along with fellow PGA Tour star Matt Jones. Former champions Geoff Ogilvy, Greg Chalmers and John Senden have also just confirmed they will be in the field.

The Australian Open will be broadcast on Channel 7 and you can get your tickets now through Ticketek.
