Snapping putters, drowning drivers and diving turtles: Video highlights from the PLAYERS Championship

Three Australian golfers are in contention going into the final round of The PLAYERS Championship. Jason Day, Aaron Baddeley and Greg Chalmers all sit four shots behind leaders, Graeme McDowell and Nick Watney with 18 holes left to play.
The PLAYERS Championship always throws up some crazy golf highlights each year, and given the 17th hole is an island green it is never surprising.
The first video shows the correct way to break your putter in two.
Charley Hoffman has been known to take to a putter or two during a round of golf but here’s a good way to deal with an under-performing one. Wait until you’ve finished the round, then just snap it with your bare hands as you walk off the final green. Hoffman will reportedly be fined for this, but imagine the uproar if Tiger had done it?
Fan rescue’s drowning driver
Michael Bradley played a poor tee shot on the seventh and ‘dropped’ his driver on the ground and it bounced into the water. A fan helped out and rescued it from drowning. H/T Devil Ball Golf
Poulter runs for sleep
If play is halted due to bad weather, golfers are allowed to play out the hole they are currently playing. With bad weather approaching, Ian Poulter realised his group needed to be playing the final hole before the horn blew or face an early start tomorrow to complete the round. Preferring a sleep in, Poulter played some speed golf and made a run for it.
Turtle Dive
Lastly, this got the fans really cheering. A turtle wanted to get back in the water, but needed a dive to do it. H/T Wei Under Par
