Presidents Cup media blitz hits Australian TV and radio

The eight automatic selections for the US and International Presidents Cup teams were decided yesterday and with it came a batch of interviews on Australian TV and radio.

Adam Scott and Brooks Koepka Louis Oosthuizen were interviewed on Nine’s Today Show yesterday morning. The affable pair are great ambassadors for golf and were happily amused as Oosthuizen was accidentally introduced as Brooks Koepka.

Brooks Koepka did eventually chat to the Australian media. Koepka and Matt Kuchar just finished the BMW Championship and chatted to the Garry Lyon and Tim Watson on SEN Breakfast yesterday – see below. (Scroll down further for the Koepka chat).

Australian Open champion Abraham Ancer becomes the first Mexican golfer to play in the Presidents Cup and he chatted to the RSN Breakfast Club.

And Cameron Smith talked to Mark Riddell, Jimmy Bartel and Mark Levy on Macquarie Sports Radio.

Supposedly Webb Simpson spoke to Fox Sports News but it may be behind some firewall somewhere.
