In no particular order, here are our favourite golf videos featured at Aussie Golfer this year.
Adam Scott at The Masters – every shot
There were plenty of great Adam Scott videos this year. This one shows almost every shot from Adam Scott’s final round – super-cut into one, short (awesome) video. Relive it. Fast.
Ernie Els and the amazing two-putt
This was incredible. You have to see it to believe it.
Nine golfers sink nine putts
There were a few similar videos to this circling around earlier in 2013 but this was the best. Nine blokes sink nine putts – all at the same time.
Serious speed golf
This video surfaced in 2012 but we only stumbled across it this year. It’s a shot-by-shot look at a golfer playing 18 holes in 54 minutes, and shooting 2-under par.
Toilet golf humour
Nicolas Colsaerts five-putted a green this year but this tricky spot at the Volvo World Match Play was easier to watch despite being forced to drop out of the toilet.
Sergio plays a shot from the tree
There were some crazy shots in 2013 – Lee Westwood tried to play one, Sergio chipped in from four feet but his shot from the tree was the most memorable.
A Bubba surprise
As usual there were plenty of Bubba Watson videos this year including the now infamous hovercraft golf buggy. But we liked this one the best – Bubba turns up at the local golf club, much to the surprise of a few members.
A Tiger cub
This interview with a young Tiger Woods is fascinating. Watch the whole thing right to the end.
Tiger Woods and The King
This promotional video for the new Tiger Woods video game was simply superb.
Drunken golf fail
This got a laugh. A bloke in pink pants trying to play a shot from the water hazard. You can see it coming but it’s funny all the same.
Mickelson from the cart path
Phil Mickelson playing golf is always compelling viewing. He hit a shot over his head at Muirfield and played an incredible flop-shot but this one was the best in 2013. If you thought Phil Mickelson’s shot was amazing, wait until you hear him explain how he did it.
Shot of the year?
This guy played a superb shot off the fence to save par. Genius.
