MASTERS 2018 / Jason Day hits golf ball into patron’s beer cup
Here is a lie we haven’t seen before on the golf course; a golf ball resting in the bottom of a beer.
Jason Day had a difficult approach to the opening hole at Augusta National. A wayward tee shot weant way left and his shot coming back over the trees, and patrons finished in an awkward lie; in a patron’s beer cup.
In order to identify his golf ball before taking relief, the patron obliged by drinking what was left in the container before handing it over to Day.
