Lyle talks of his battle with leukaemia: video
Jarrod Lyle was interviewed yesterday at Kingston Heath, marking the first time he had stepped back on a golf course since being struck down with leukaemia for a second time last March.
It was heart-breaking discussion lead by Luke Elvy with very few dry eyes on the room. Specifically when Lyle recounted spending precious time with his new daughter before undergoing treatment.
“It was probably the hardest moment of my life,” Lyle said. “Going through the chemo and the transplant and all that was nothing compared to realising that I only had 12 hours with my brand new daughter.”
