How to watch The Open, even if you don’t have FoxSports

Update 19/6, 6pm: It appears the online OpenLive coverage is more of a behind the scenes stream rather than live golf.
We provided Australian TV Times for the 2012 Open Championship earlier this week, and the exclusive FoxSports coverage of the 2012 Open Championship in Australia has angered golf fans without Pay TV.
But there are some other, perfectly legal ways to watch the golf from Royal Lytham this week.
Despite being the oldest major it could be argued The Open Championship is the most progressive, with six hours of golf is being streamed online in HD quality through Livestream, TheOpen.com or The Open’s Facebook page. All these avenues will feature an integrated chat section as well as text, tweet and photo updates, and all are perfectly legal ways of watching the oldest major golf tournament.
If you want to get more involved or just simply be more informed, the free official Open Championship App (iPad, Android and iPhone) that also features live coverage should also be on top of your list.
The Open twitter feed should be followed this week to keep up to date with the latest news from Royal Lytham. Richard Hinds and Robert Lusetich are some of the Aussie media on course this week and should be followed for updates.
