Hanson’s wayward shot nearly hits Cabrera on the next tee: video
Here is something even us, mere amateurs can relate to – nearly hitting someone on the adjacent hole.
Peter Hanson was playing the par-5 7th hole during the second round of the US PGA championship when his wayward approach shot went a little left. Actually, it went a lot left and nearly killed the group in front which included Angel Cabrera, Lee Westwood and Bill Haas.
The ball looks like it bounced off a bag landing at the feet of Cabrera who was about to play his drive on the next tee. Embarressing. If Hanson yelled fore it certainly wasn’t heard. No doubt it was a sheepish walk to his ball, something most of us can all relate to.
