Golfweek course raters are touring Australian golf courses

A bunch of American golf course raters are touring Australia – and blogging about it.

There are currently 28 golf courses raters from American golf publication Golfweek on a whirlwind tour of Australia’s and they’re blogging about their trip as they play some of Australia’s best golf courses.

The Golfweek raters have played golf in Melbourne’s sandbelt (Royal Melbourne, Kingston Heath and Metropolitan GC), had a quick trip down the Mornington Peninsula where things got really windy and have just had a sneak preview of the brand new Cape Wickham Golf Course on King Island in Tasmania.

I’m guessing they’ll be heading to Barnbougle next, but keep an eye on the whirlwind tour blog to find out for yourself.

Keep up to date on the tour via the Golfweek Travel Raters Blog Australia page.

  • I think they are playing Barnbougle this week. I’ll be heading there for the first time this month too. I won’t have golf shoes or my own clubs or my preferred ball but I’m still looking forward to it. From what I hear, it’s the best of the best.
