Some of the best Open Championships are featured in this compilation from Golfing World TV.
The next major golf tournament for the year is the US Open at Chambers Bay next month but Golfing World have put together this video of five of the best Open Championships from the last 50 years.
Featured in the great video is Lee Trevino’s upset victory at Muirfield in 1972, Phil Mickelson’s remarkable finish at the same venue in 2013, Seve Ballesteros’ swash-buckling wins in 1979 and 1988, and of course Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus’ famous ‘Duel in the Sun’ in 1977. Check it out.
The 2015 Open Championship will be played at St.Andrews from July 16 – 19.
